When starting an home based internet business of your own for the first time you will no doubt come across numerous frustrations all of kinds. The first time you try & upload a landing page, host your own wordpress blog or try to speak with a human being and not a support ticket when you need to resolve a technical issue you will find that common sense and logic do not really play a part in building a business online.
If you can learn from the outset that by overcoming issues over and over again you will by default find the next ones easier than the last. After the first few months of frustrations and feeling overwhelmed the preparation will be in place for you to emerge stronger, wiser and more experienced than most who often fall at the first or second hurdle, then start looking for the easy, faster, quicker routes that in reality simply do not exist.
The real secret to overcoming any hurdle or frustration is knowing your reason why. Your reason why, if strong enough and at the heart of everything you do will be more than enough to provide you with the motivation, strength and will power to dust yourself off, and start all over again when things go wrong.
Finding your reason why is easy when you link it to goal setting, so if you have reached the half way point in your business, or have failed to to move forward as fast as you would like, revisit your reason why at the heart of your goal setting and make a new vision board to boost your next 90 days.
Goals should cover four areas and have a timescale attached to each goal, the four areas of your life that your goals should cover are:-
1. Health
2. Financial
3. Intellectual
4. Spiritual
Without good health, nothing else matters, rework you r health goals and include what you are committed to, within a timescale to make sure they become incorporated into your every day. If you do not make time for exercise, make time for illness.
Write your financial goals, clearly defined into timescales and have fun with this, let go of your expectations and allow yourself to believe anything is possible. Too often people focus on the end results of their financial goals and miss out what I like to call the bit in the middle, this is where you take action that will help manifest your financial goals.
Without committing to your intellectual goals, your financial goals are very unlikely to ever appear. One of the biggest advocates of this way of thinking is Mike Dillard who lists over 75 books he studied to become an expert in his field and in no way is that a comprehensive list, nor does the learning ever stop. Expertise in your niche is vital to becoming a master of what you do, at that point you will be able to do the seemingly impossible with ease.
Your reason why lies within your spiritual goals, this is often why people who simply chase the money aspect of business are in reality focusing on the wrong thing. Your reason why is the most powerful force of all, whether you have aspirations to do charity work, feed the world, build a hospital, leave a legacy for your children and grandchildren, help others and give back, the answer will more often than not be found within your spiritual goals which include faith and the people in your life, now and in the future.
